Cumbres del Poas Estate is nestled on the fertile volcanic slopes of Costa Rica’s Central Valley — one of Central America’s earliest pioneers in honey and natural coffee processing.
The farm practices 100% organic cultivation, avoiding all chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
Through worm composting, rainwater collection, and selective hand-picking, every coffee cherry embodies purity and sustainability.
Only cherries with a Brix sugar level above 20% are chosen — sweeter than passionfruit or lemon — to ensure a naturally rich, fruit-forward cup.
Since gaining acclaim in the 2009 Cup of Excellence, the estate’s coffees have been celebrated for their remarkable sweetness and clarity.
